Combat Veterans face issues known in a capacity different than than any other Veteran or Civilian. The ghosts can live long and large. Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Association is an organization that helps lend support to its members (all who have served in combat), and all other Veterans. www.combatvet.org  Rich Leasure and Crystal Larson will be my guests.

Rich Leasure, Jr  joined the USAF in 1989 and is still on active duty. He currently serve as a Road Captain and Public Affairs Officer for CVMA Omaha. Rich served in Operation Desert Shield / Operation Desert Storm the first time and Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation New Dawn the second time.

Crystal Larson's husband Randy was medically retired from the Army National Guard in December 2014 with 19 ½ years of service.  During that time he was deployed twice to Afghanistan, 2004-2005 and 2009-2010.  Randy was diagnosed with PTSD in 2005 after his first deployment and it has been a journey ever since trying to find a new normal for our life.  It has not always been an easy journey, but with much help and prayer, our marriage is the best it has ever been.

This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me". We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers.

The front half of show is a featured guest. The second part of the show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music, sure to inspire!
