A 2010 study by the Karolinska Institute in Sweden concluded that a sedentary lifestyle is linked to obesity, diabetes, heart disease cancer and high mortality rates. People who don't exercise are more prone to illness and earlier death than those who do.

Obesity is a major risk factor for many chronic diseases. Staying fit by regular aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility exercises, along with healthy eating habits, will help you control your weight and help you improve your body composition.
