What Did You Expect?

No turn of ages, no Birthdays and CERTAINLY No New Year's' are with out a certain TON Of expectations.  We even had an ancient civilization gearing up our expectations, last year!  What was up with that?

What did you expect from 2012?  What was your idea of the Mayan Prophesy?  How much stock do you put into predictions? Any ideas for the so-called "End Times?"

And, seeing as how we're still here, what might you be expecting from this point- from the world at large and from yourself?

I took the Mayan Prophesy as a note that big changes were taking place- and, hey, THEY ARE!  I have seen a growth in consciousness that I could never have anticipated and it might just have sprouted from the ancient idea of a phase shift in human or ecological development.  But that's just me.
