This week - say it with me - "we'll be doing something a little bit different". I said last year that I wanted to redo Kim Possible, Gargoyles, and Harley/Ivy at some point, because when I did those shows originally, it was a different format and I wanted to include other authors. I was able to pull this off with the first two shows, but the trouble with Harley/Ivy is that while there are several authors who have written good stories about this pairing, it's much, much harder finding someone whose body of Harley/Ivy work is comparable to the caliber of author I generally have on my program. And obviously I can't interview MYSELF. So tonight I'll be trying something else. I will be giving a live reading of my Harley/Ivy fic "Defying Sanity", which is probably my favorite story that I've written in over nine years. I'll be joined by fellow Batman fan and Blogtalkradio personality Rachael, host of the radio show "Glass of Win". We'll also take some time prior to the reading where I'll talk to Rachael, who has discussed several different Gotham-related topics with her listeners over the course of her program, about her own feelings about Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and their lives and loves.
