the school celebrates the renaming of the school today, it is no longer the asbury park middle school it is now the dr martin luther king school

The renaming of the Asbury Park Middle School is scheduled to take place Wed., Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. The school will be renamed the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School. The Board of Education approved the name change in August.
