Is motivational input required to be successful in sales? Definitely,

Our company believes motivational training can come from one of two areas:

  1. Sitting in a seminar with a recognized motivational speaker who tells you how to manage your thoughts so you will take action to do the things necessary to achieve sales performance goals. However, the influence of motivational seminars wanes after a couple of days or weeks, and the salesperson might find their motivation back at zero.
  2. The other type of motivation is building the skills necessary to succeed. Skill building creates its own motivation as salespeople improve performance. As salespeople's confidence increases, they are more motivated to keep the momentum.
