Each year in the month of February many in the United States Celebrate Black History Month.  The month is to remember and to honor the history of this great nation that we in American have had and to thank the people who made it so.

Well recently I had the to honor of attend an event that was presented by the United States Black Cavalry Family and Mr. Thomas (TC) Costly retired. The organization founder is amazing. This group of man and women overall have a very interesting mission.

The mission of the United States Black Cavalry Family (USBCF) is to partner with local communities to provide hands on voluntary assistance to organizations supporting the needs of veterans and the welfare of families existing in or near poverty. Additionally, our mission is to educate impoverished families to enhance their emotional, social, and spiritual well being. It is also to share lost yet found information about the great american history of African Americans.

If you would like to learn more about the group visit their web site. http://www.usbcf.com/home.htm

So anyway I ask again do you know any black or africa amaerican history.

  • It 4 July your independance day?
  • What do you know about the constitution?
  • Which constitution freed the slavers?
  • When were Blacks let into the US military?
  • How many time have africa american fought in Wars?
  • What part did Black play in World War II?

These are interesting and improtent question listen to the show and learn the answers.

Thanks to Mr. Thomas Costley for sharing your knowledge, strong character, faith and spirit with us. You may not be with us on the show but your spirit and drive are with us.
