In the Book of Deuteronomy, we find that when the children of Israel were ready to pass over the Jordan into the Promised Land, that Moses instructed two groups to stand on the two mountains located on either side of the valley they were to pass through.
One was Mt. Gerazim from which the blessings for obedience were to be pronounced.
One was Mt. Ebal from which the cursings for disobedience were to be pronounced.
The men of Issachar were located on Mt. Gerazim, pronouncers of the blessing.
Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world, but to save it. To announce the 'acceptable year of the Lord'.
The men of Issachar were anointed to bless, as well as to give wise counsel.
