"Line upon line.....understanding God"

Understanding is a growing process.  The truth of the Unseen Kingdom of God is not laid ahold of all at once.  Paul said that he 'pressed on to lay ahold of Christ like He has laid ahold of me'.  This was after many years of knowing Him.

Isaiah 28:10 explains how understanding grows:  line upon line, precept upon precept.  Here a little.  There a little.

"It is no longer I that lives", is a phrase Paul mentions in Galatians 2:20.  Once you 'see', understand the basic of this truth, you aren't done plumbing the depths of it.  Who is the you that is dead?  What does that death mean spiritual, mentally, emotionally, naturally/physically?  How far reaching is that truth?  How does it affect my eternal well being?  What does that mean where my stand against Satan is concerned?  Sin?  Approaching God in prayer?

We certainly aren't going to answer all these questions.  They are given to provoke you to 'ask, seek and find' the answers to them.  

This is how we learn line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little.

No matter how many years you have studied a particular phrase, there is still more to be discovered.

God's Wisdom is many-faceted.

"Let him who glories, glory in this:  that he knows and UNDERSTANDS Me," Jeremiah 9:23-24.

The greatest Person we can know is God.  The greatest Person we can understand is God!

And the wonderful thing is, He wants us to!
