"Washed with the Water of the Word....moment by moment"

"You are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you", Jesus said.  The words of Scripture are described as 'water' that washes us.  As we go through our daily life, we get our 'feet dirty' with the weights and sins that want to easily beset us.  The cleansing agent has been provided:  God's Word, to wash us and keep us clean.  Power encounters.  Word encounters.  Through the day.  That is the solution to being in the world but not of it.  The life of, 'the wicked one comes but he touches me not'.  Oh yes, that life IS your destiny as a Christian.
