The power of renouncing the sin that easily besets you......

To renounce:  to say especially in a formal or official way that you will no longer have or accept something.  How do you 'lay aside' the sin that wants to easily BESET you?  First, get a vision of a life of freedom from it.  Gather ammunition (which we are doing). Then get started by making a statement 'renouncing' that particular easily besetting sin.  Today, I want to investigate a little deeper the difference/compatibility between the words, 'renounce' and 'resist'.  Each has its own operation and effect.
