What does it mean to 'lay aside' sin?

Picking up from our last broadcast, 'Laying aside the sin that so easily besets you', I want to look at what that exactly means.  It is important to get the 'ammunition' ready before waging the war against an enemy.  If you have given into a temptation, don't despair...prepare.  Get your 'ammunition' ready for there will be another test.  Satan leaves you only for a season and then he comes back.  Study of God's Word on the subject of how to 'lay aside' a sin, is the ammunition you need for the next temptation.  That is my purpose,  To give you that ammunition or get you started on where to get it
