"Father Abraham's story....a life lesson"

Those in the 'household of faith' are those who 'walk in the footsteps of faith' that Abraham walked in.  His life story is a life lesson in faith:  it's birth, development and reward.  The lessons learned are 'family practices' that must be continually rehearsed from like the sages of old rehearsed the life story of the family ancestory.  Abraham is our 'family ancestor' and it is important to keep walking in the SAME faith that he lived, that we keep rehearsing to ourselves his life.  Isaiah 51:1&2: " look unto the rock from which you have been hewn...look unto Abraham your father and Sarah that bare you".
