"Physical healing in Redemption?"

If, as some teach, healing is not in the Atonement, why were type of the Atonement given in connection with bodily healing throughout the Old Testament?  For example, the Passover, the priests making atonement for the cleansing of a leper, the serpent lifted up in the wilderness for the healing from serpent bites.  This also is a type of Christ's atonement.  F.F. Bosworth, in his book, Christ the Healer, addressed this issue:  "Did Jesus redeem us from our diseases when He atoned for our sins?"  Have your thinking cap on for this broadcast!
