Robert Sichinga speaks with Windu Matoka – Director, Micro & Small Enterprises at Zambia Development Agency. Zambia has experienced extensive economic growth and investment, the ZDA has been in the forefront of facilitating this investment.

Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) is a semi-autonomous institution mandated to further economic development through promotion of investments and exports in Zambia. ZDA’s efforts are channeled through three key divisions;

1. Investment Promotion and Privatization: the division is responsible for Multi Facility Economic Zones (MFEZ), Privatization, Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
2.  Exports Promotion and Market Development: identifies market outlets for local products and enhances prospective exporter’s capacity to meet international standards.
3. Micro and Small Enterprises: promotes the growth of the SME sector through provision of training, business development services and joint venture services.
