Mr Issac Ngoma is the president of the Economics Association of Zambia, whose aims include to promote the socio-economic development of Zambia and the world at large by undertaking research, training, education, publication and consultancy in the field of economics and related discipline.
Mr Ngoma will discuss the recent announcement by the World Bank of Zambia’s reclassification as a lower middle-income country along with Ghana following its impressive economic performance since the year 2000. At a recent press briefing the association called for leadership in the nation to foster economic development as its priority.
