Mr Hakainde Hichilema

Mr. Hakainde Hichilema is a young Zambian politician with his sight on the presidency of Zambia. Popularly known as HH, Mr. Hakainde emerged as the replacement of the late UPND founder Anderson Mazoka. Mr. Hichilema has held various senior positions in the Zambian corporate world where he rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Coopers & Lybrand (now Grant Thornton). He Chairs several Boards of Zambian-based companies such as Sun International and Media Trust Fund, to name a few. He is also a Director and Board Member of many companies in Zambia. His party, UPND, recently merged with PF resulting in one of the most formidable pacts in Zambia's modern politics. We are honored to have president Hakainde come to Zambia Blog Talk Radio this Saturday, July 4, 2009. He will discuss among other things the current political climate, the PF-UPND merger and its implication for the 2011 Presidential and General Elections.
