NASA calls comet Elenin "wimpy," because by late August, it will be barely be naked eye visible as a dim "fuzzy star" with a tail. By 16-Oct, it will be at its brightest, during its closest approach to Earth. At that time, it will be some 22 million miles, just a little closer to us than Venus.

However, if Elenin is a wimp, it will still soon be observed by the Stero-B and SOHO solar observatories in August and September. With this in mind, the Planet X Town Hall Comet Elenin team weighs in on:

  1. Latest info about Elenin
  2. Satellite observations in August and September.
  3. Comet Holmes and the Blue Kachina Prophecy
  4. What's happening on other planets.
  5. Increased gamma-ray  output, but from where?
  6. Is the Sun producing a 'new' kind of particle?
  7. Earth weather, seismicity and volcanism trends.

Meanwhile, naysayers and debunkers are already spewing their usual patronizing and demeaning attacks, so what happens next? A wimpy big win for the arrogant potty mouths while NASA withholds imagery, or will things take an unexpected turn?
