There was a time when kids yielded to the guidance of parents; these day the opposite appears true  and kids seem to be the ones running the show at home.  So, with the increase in violent acts of children , who should be held responsible? 

This is a million dollar question and the answers fall heavy on the side of No, but decades of research on the relationship between bad parenting and youth delinquency, have many experts supporting stricter punishment of perps' parents.
