Join Jacqueline Foreman as she interviews actor Demond Wilson who portrayed the character of LaMont Sanford in the classic television series Sanford & Son with the late comedian Red Foxx. Red Foxx, played Wilson's grouchy but lovable dad, Fred Sanford. After the show ended in 1977, Wilson continued on as an actor starring as divorcee Raymond Ellis in the short-lived CBS-TV comedy series Baby, I’m Back and as Oscar Madison, opposite actor Ron Glass (who co-starred as Felix Unger) in the ABC TV sitcom The New Odd Couple, a revamped black version of the original. Join us as we discuss what is was like working with Red Foxx, his TV guest roles on shows like All in the Family, Mission Impossible, The Love Boat, and more recently, Girlfriends and why he made a childhood vow to somehow serve God.
