Galatians 5:22-26 (NKJ)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
stoy-kheh'-o—from a derivative of steicho (to range in regular line); to march in (military) rank (keep step), i.e. (figurative) to conform to virtue and piety :- walk (orderly).
It literally means to walk in line with; it is not the same as the word used for physical walking in (Gal 5:16). To walk in the Spirit is to walk along the path that He lays down
The person who is led by the Spirit will do what is right freely, not by a sign in the road; by set of rules or by compulsion from the law.
Walking in the Spirit is a sign of maturity understanding our purpose!
