March, 19 2011 - So You Think....... So you think your having a bad day and are a little confused about the world at large, perhaps some dreams of 2012; and, how about all these great tax cuts to businesses — who exactly is it going to help? More importantly, who's going to pay for it — Teachers, Policeman, Fireman, the elderly, the poor? The New York Times reports: A United Nations forecast of the possible movement of the radioactive plume coming from crippled Japanese reactors shows it churning across the Pacific, and touching the Aleutian Islands on Thursday before hitting Southern California late Friday. Health and nuclear experts emphasize that radiation in the plume will be diluted as it travels and, at worst, would have extremely minor health. Sharron Angle The nut job from Nevada is running for office again. This time she wants to be Congress women. Florida Senate passes teacher merit-pay bill The Florida Senate approved a teacher merit pay bill Thursday that overhauls how teachers are evaluated and paid, tying both to their students' performance on standardized exams. But where's the money coming from? Tune in to Yo Soy Latino with Jose Miranda & Haydee Ayala on Saturday from Noon to 1pm on WEUS 810AM in Orlando, FL. Bring that cup of coffee, Italian bread and of course an open mind as we share our thoughts on the world at large—locally and nationally. See if we can wake folks up before we find ourselves completely cut out of the budget by the great party of "No". By the way whatever happened to the Democratic Party?
