The Most Embarrassing Moment Of My Life

“You’ve just proven something important to yourself,” I’d say. “If you can break a board with nothing but your bare palm, you can easily break through limiting beliefs that stop you from achieving your lofty goals. Aim for it and thrust forward!”

The audience went nuts—they loved it.

So went the motivational speaking gigs that I started doing, after reading many self-help books.  I had a knack for delivering inspiring messages with passion, and it became a great hobby with benefits.   One week I’d fly to Chicago, the next to San Francisco. I was having the time of my life.  Eventually I connected with one of the biggest real estate companies, and they paid me to fly all over the country to energize their brokers. 

What happened on the day of my big gig is the most embarrassing and transformational moments of my life.
