Death of the Ego through altered Consciousness.

    in Spirituality

Back In 2009, It all happened.

my life had completey fell at my feet and the world I thought I knew was ripped from me. Left vunerable and confused about what I thought I knew I suddenly found myself "going crazy". Waking up is a process that is very REAL and very painful to the individual that is experiencing it, and depending on the depth of the program it can be "deadly" which one decides to end their own lives. or "deadly" when you meet the death of your ego,  which is when you experience the "feeling" of dying while using drugs. This isn't necessarily  a bad thing. Things that are detrimentally ruining our lives needs to be exposed. How will we be able to CHANGE things about out selves that we don't face or don't know that's there? Join us at 8 pm on Sat @theunpopular table!

Does Our Ego Stop Us From Fighting? Daily Gogetemism #482

    in Lifestyle

Often when things don't work out for us after a long time dtruggle, we ask ourselves if it was ever worth the fight? Do we ask ourselves was it worth fighting for while we were in the middle of the fight? Probably not, but when our friends start getting in our ears, a whole lot of our feelings change.

Is it our ego that makes us act like we don't want something that we really want? The ego or the people looking? Which one?

    The Sacred Ego: Jalaja Bonheim,PhD

    in Self Help

Why have we failed to create the happy, peaceful world that we all want? And what can we do about it?

For more than three decades Jalaja Bonheim has explored these questions in her work with women leaders, activists, and spiritual seekers from around the world.

In her new book The Sacred Ego she tackles one olf the core myths of popular spiritual culture-the myth of the ego, supposedly responsible for our greed, seflshness, and violence.

In contrast she approches the ego as a sacred function worthy of honor and gratitude.

Its going to be a very interesting show.
