-If not for BTR's draconian title-length limits, the title of this episode would be, "SenatorJPO vs. SAGLA Scholarship Essayist: Social Science Major Missteps in Critical Thinking."-

SenatorJPO continues onto another essayist from among the final cohort of UW-SAGLA Liberal Arts Essayists. (After a few weeks of other topics, SenatorJPO is on Essayist 3 of 6.)

UW-La Crosse political science double major Avery Wehrs attempts a comparison between the purported salaries of philosophy graduates (her minor field of study) and wages of welding program graduates, in support of the UW-SAGLA assertion her liberal arts education is "likely to pay off."

However, the data sources differ drastically in scope and quality: One relies upon self-selection from amongst only working respondents; whereas the other data source is randomly selected and includes both employed and unemployed respondents.

SenatorJPO explains this discrepancy to its logical conclusion by introducing complementary data, by which his logical inferences contrast with Wehrs' conclusions.
