On March the 30, 1965 I was just turning 10, I had lost my mother a year previous to this in September. I was so sad and had been betrayed the ultimate betrayal of one human being to another.  I thought I had problems, but this young man George Jackson was experiencing the same betrayal but he was locked behind bars at 17, and now was 18 only eight years older than me. But he like many of my generation who were teens at the time of the Vietnam War would never see 25.   The letters of George Jackson show the corruption of the AMERICAN RACIST WHITE SUPREMACIST GOVERNMENT in relation to cruel and inhuman treatment of Black Men in the CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM OF PROCEEDINGS. How is it possible that a youth could be treated like this is beyond cruel it is devilish.  George becomes increasingly aware of the fact that he is on the slope of justice deferred, and his death is only a matter of time even though he is doing all the right things to turn his life around. Listen to this part of his letter to his father: "Though I know I am a victim of social injustice and economic pressure and though I understand the forces that work to drive so many of our kind to places like this and mental institutions, I can't  help but know I proceeded wrong somewhere. I could have done worse. You know our people react in different ways to this neo-slavery, some just give in completely and join the other side.  They join some Christian cult and cry out for integration.  These are the weakest and hardest to reach with new doctrine. Some become inveterate drinkers and narcotic users in an attempt to gain some mental solace for the physical depravity  they suffer." GEORGE JACKSON, MARCH 30, 1965
