Update Your Skills and Get a Job

Update your abilities and get a job. A year of being jobless makes you less competitive, even lethargic. A year out of work could have made your skills useless.  Look into those job announcements comparable to your last job. Could you qualify now for the same job now that you left this time last year? There could be things you need to know. There could be equipment you need to master. Identify missing qualifications. You may need to update or change your abilities to get a job now. You may realize the need to seek out training. Rarely does job descriptions remain the same.  The last job you had changed constantly.  You know that as fact. You learned new things constantly. A year off, is a year later. Update your skills now if you want a paycheck in the near future.
