Dorian Palumbo is a prolific playwright and member of the Dramatists Guild since 1986. Her new comedy-drama “Divination” plays at the American Theater of Actors at 314 W 54th St. in NYC between 8th & 9th Aves.  October 31 – November 11. It is directed by Ken Coughlin and stars YATING SUN, MEREDITH RUST, AYO AKINSANYA, ABIGAIL ARANDAR, CHRISTINA DEWAR and LONDON GRIFFITH

Synopsis: Six women of vastly different backgrounds sign up for a class in “Mediumship and Divination,” each one at a crossroads in their lives, each in search of something that’s missing. Will they find it among the spirits? Dorian Palumbo’s new play, the comedy-drama Divination, examines that inevitable point in a woman’s life – at whatever age it may come – when she realizes the past isn’t prologue, the present isn’t about being comfortable, and the future shouldn’t necessarily be foretold.
