Domestic violence should not happen to anybody. Ever. Period. But it does - and when it does, there is help. Maybe you have lived with abuse, maybe it happened just once; maybe you work or live next to someone who is being abused right now. Whoever you are not alone. If you know someone whom you think is being abused - a friend, family member, co-worker, client, patient or parishioner - please consider contacting us and we will provide the agencies/shelters information and discuss ways to safely help them. In this segment my guest Mrs. Suzette Preble and I will discuss domestic violence. We both ran yesterday 5K for AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse) We will share personal experiences, why women don't leave, why men don't stop. How can the cycle be broken? What do we teach to our children about the violence at home? Thank you for listening. Please call in with your questions.
