Pro Football great Willie Whitehead’s amazing success has earned him national recognition as a leading defensive end.
He began his professional football career in 1995 and played professionally in both Canada (CFL) and the United States (NFL).
Most recently Willie maintained a starting position with the New Orleans Saints, with whom he played for eight consecutive seasons. He also helped lead the New Orleans Saints to one of the most successful seasons in Saints History, which led to their first NFC Championship Game in 2007.
Willie is deeply involved in charity and civic work. He is committed to enhancing the lives of people, especially youth, through lessons in faith and perseverance,
In 2003 Whitehead formed The Willie Whitehead Foundation to carry out the formidable task of educating, empowering, encouraging and motivating young men ages 10-18 years old.
