Becoming A Woman of Excellence: Respect Yourself Part 3

SCRIPTURE TEXT: Proverbs 31

DISCUSSION: Proverbs Chapter 31 refers to a woman admired by all, especially her own family. This woman knew the importance of being respected in her community and she valued what others thought of her, therefore she had to be a woman of high moral and spiritual standards. In order to accomplish this, her self esteem had to be built from within her mind and spirit, she had respect for who she was, and for her husband whom she represented; he boasted at the city gates about having a good wife.  Today, women need to set an example before our families and in our community of being a gracious lady, a woman who has confidence in her own self worth.
