Archbishop Carl Bean is the founder and  Prelate of the Unity Fellowship Church Movement which has churches in over 20 states. The "movement" has always been an open invitation to all of God's children with the simple message that "God Is Love and Love is for Everyone".  The Unity Fellowship Movement has been the church home to thousands of LGBTQ persons of faith who had formerly had difficulties with the messages of the mainstream church. The church preaches "liberation theology" and has been the structure for other churches. Archbishop has worked diligently in the fight to end the AIDS epidemic as well as on the issue of marriage equality. He is also known as a former Motown Recording Artist who sang the song known as the LGBTQ National Anthem "Born This Way". We are honored to have him join us on Sunday Evening Shout!
