Twila York 

Born and raised in Michigan, Twila York discovered her love of event production while working with the Silver Leaf Renaissance Faire, where she spent four years as a volunteer.

She has worked in the hospitality industry with Marriott for the past 15 years, where she has trained and implemented policy that is sensitive to, and accommodating of the religious traditions and customs of hotel guests. Twila has been a body positive model for two years as a way of expressing herself and the beauty all around.

She has volunteered with Greater Chicagoland Pagan Pride for ten years, an annual event that draws over 500 people. The past seven years she has been the lead organizer and producer of this event. 

Twila is an Animist, with a deep interest in both religious and cultural diversity and a love of interacting with people. She has been an active supporter of organizations like The Parliament of World Religions, Spiritual Playdate and participating spiritual diversity. In 2012, she graduated from Northeastern Illinois University, and holds a BS in Communications, with a minor in Media. She resides in Chicago, IL with her husband, Devin.
