Rachelle is an award-winning screenwriter, author and past- president of Women in Film & Television Vancouver. She has been involved in the film industry for fifteen years, first as an actress, then as a story consultant and creative producer of numerous short films, including a co-production shot in South Korea, and now as a full-time screenwriter with five screenplays at different stages of development. Rachelle also recently completed 'CHRYSALIS: A Dark and Delicious Diary of Emergence', her memoir, which was released September 2014. Described as 'Eat, Pray, Love' meets 'Bridget Jones's Diary' if either woman was a bulimic, alcoholic divorced twice by age thirty-nine, 'CHRYSALIS' chronicles Rachelle's heart-wrenching, heart-healing metamorphic year.
