"Little Miss Merit Badge" Author Dr. Ronda Beaman

When Ronda was growing up, she didn't feel as though she was important or was truly loved. So at the young age of 6 she discovered how earning Merit Badges could make you feel pretty good about yourself. That soon turned into her "drug of choice", earning Girl Scout badges, also known as "the accomplishment addiction".

With all her hard work earned her the title of the first recipient of the National Education Association's "Excellence in the Academy: Art Of Teaching" award, as well as mother of USA Today's Most Creative Family, and she is a faculty resource for the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) University. She is a highly regarded international speaker, she also directs leadership studies at California Polytechnic University and is Chief Creative Officer at PEAK Learning, Inc.
