Just a few days ago we lost the Great Sid Haig. Sidney "Sid" Haig was an American actor who was most commonly known for playing villains. He was distinguished by his bald head and full beard and mustache. He was best remembered for playing the gruesome, clown-like Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. He was a Hollywood character actor who for more than 50 years played thugs, villains and, most famously, a psychotic clown named Captain Spaulding. Saturday September 21st, Sid passed away due to a lung infection....He was 80. Join us this week in remembering this wonderful man.
