Joining us again is MARY FRAN BONTEMPO author, speaker, humorist and teacher who believes in the power of women. For over 30 years, Mary Fran has written for and about women and girls, forging connections through humor and common experience.

Her message that it’s never too late to reinvent and transform a life through small changes that yield big results inspires with a dose of humor.

A former newspaper columnist, Mary Fran offered her humorous take on life to thousands of readers throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond with her Everyday Adventures column, winning awards from the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop and Humor Press. Since founding the blog, Not Ready For Granny Panties, in 2010, and publishing the book, Not Ready For Granny Panties–The 11 Commandments for Avoiding Granny Panties, in 2012, Mary Fran continues to inspire other women plopped unceremoniously in life’s middle ground, encouraging them to make themselves a priority in their own lives and reclaim their right to FUN.

Delivering a positive message to younger women is also a passion.  Mary Fran effectively shares her message with students and young women, encouraging them to own their “uniqueness” and hear their own voice, creating a happy, productive life in a noisy world.

Mary Fran’s work has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Bulletin and numerous publications throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey. Mary Fran also currently writes for Women’s Voices Magazine.

A wife (32 years and counting), mother to three, teacher, church singer, member of Soroptimists International and multiple networking and business organizations
