Join us as we chat with author, book publicist and developer, ANTOINETTE KURITZ,

According to a survey by the Jenkins Group, over 80% of Americans feel they have a book in them.  Few will write it, fewer will finish it. Very few will see it published, or even printed for their families, much less widely read.  So the first question is NOT ‘am I too old?’ but ‘why are you writing a book?”

A lot of people have felt they had a book in them, but they didn’t have an agent, a copy editor, line editor agent, illustrator , designer …. publisher, so they stopped writing.  Well, hold onto your keyboard!

The “good ole’ boys club” publishing industry has been democratized. Writers of all levels are on a new playing field.  Even with almost one million new (ISBN)books in the US last year, the opportunities abound … but how do you get your words out effectively?

Our guest,  Antoinette Kuritz,  is a Book Project Manager,  Literary Publicist, Publishing and Media Coach,  Host of Writers Roundtable Radio Show, KUSI-TV “Book Expert”, author, wife, mother, grandmother and soon to be Publisher.  She provides candid and comprehensive nuggets of wisdom, wit and woe about getting your words into print and avoiding the predators in the world of both traditional and self-publishing.

A former teacher and bookseller, she inspired Chicken Soup Mogul Mark Victor Hansen, launched the national career of psychic medium John Edward and represented crime writer Joseph Wambaugh.

Antoinette knows the behind-the-book-cover aspects of the industry and she's sharing them with us.
