Dr. Vera R. Jackson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Center for Leadership Innovation—a national nonprofit organization designed to transform community organizations and solve vexing social problems through leadership development training, peer consultant networks, and funding opportunities. Prior to this position, Dr. Jackson was the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists—an international professional membership association of more than 10,000 pharmacists and other health professionals. In addition to serving as the National Senior Director of Special Programs & Initiatives for the Epilepsy Foundation and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan Washington, she has held positions as chief executive of several other local, regional, and national organizations. Dr. Jackson, in her role as university professor, has also taught psychology and sociology courses.
