Welcome to another week of Wheelz-Up Radio. Your #1 Choice for Sportsman Drag Racing. This week on Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines we join host Chris Barnes, Tri-State Stock/SS President Mike Carr, Mid Atlantic .90 Association President Rob Keister & possibly Bob "The Sheriff" Bender will be pulling the squad car into the lanes sirens blaring. On this week's show the gang will talk with recently crowned Division 1 Super Stock Champion Gary Ewing about his season. They will also look back to an action packed Las Vegas National Event & Rockingham D-2 Event and preview the ever popular Las Vegas D-7 event that is the finale for the Lucas Oil Series for the year and will mostly solidify who the champions will be for the World and the individual Divisions.

This week's guest is a legend in the ranks of Division 1. When you think of Super Stock on the East Coast this name usually comes to the top - The Ewing Brothers. Driving their 1969 Z-28 Camaro the younger brother of the three (Gary) wheeled the SS/JA to the Division 1 Super Stock Championship in 2016 by outlasting some of the biggest names in the Northeast. Racing for over 40 years out of their home in Maryland, the Ewings have claimed National Event trophies at the Keystone Nationals and a few Runner-Ups at E-Town and the Summernationals. When not racing they keep a busy schedule, as they love displaying the car in shows when time allows. Not only is their vehicle quick and fast on the track, but also gets a many a second look when standing still at the local shows. We look forward to talking with Gary about how his season went and how he was able to outlast the best of the best and claim a championship.
