The Rob Report
Welcome to another week of Wheelz-Up Radio. Your #1 Choice for Sportsman Drag Racing & Commentary. This week on Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines we join host Chris Barnes, Tri-State Stock/SS President Mike Carr and Mid Atlantic .90 President Rob Keister. Up first, the gang will talk with John Card & Rodalyn Knox of Sassy Race Engines and the Champney Card Racing team. Then we will welcome the driver of the East Coast Auto Electric TAFC and DJ Cox Jr., who is fresh off a win at the Atco LODRS and his first Eastern Regional TAFC Championship.
Our first guests this week is no stranger to the show. As we all know Sassy Racing Engines is the major sponsor of the Wednesday Night Wheelz-Up Radio Show. This week we welcome Vice President John Card and the driver of the Country Girl Funny Car Rodalyn Knox. As reported earlier in the month a special edition "Country Girl" funny car was unveiled for the New England Dragway 50th Anniversary Race. The Country Girl Funny Car will hold a special match race with the King & Marshall car backed by Jimmy King. So John and Rodalyn will be on to talk about the race and the 50th Anniversary Race at NED.  Our next guest, DJ Cox Jr. is one of those second generation drivers that we talk about so much. DJ followed in the footsteps of his dad into the ranks of Top Alcohol Funny Car. The opportunity was given to DJ when John Anderika decided to retire after winning the D1 championship in 2013. With backing from Dixie Construction & East Coast Auto Electric the teams formed as one. With wins at Virginia & Atco this year, DJ was able to clinch his first ever Eastern Regional TAFC Championship. We will talk with DJ about the championship and how he is feeling as he heads to Indy.

Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines hits the road beginning at 7pm on Wednesday Night. To call in and chat with the hosts or our guests please call 1-347-826-7505.
