Friday, April 27th, marked the 20th  anniversary of the acquittal of the officers who brutally beat  Rodney King in Los Angeles.   The results of that trial incited  riots in California and elsewhere across the nation.

Now, twenty years later,  in light of the murder of Trayvon Martin, many of find ourselves asking the same question Rodney King asked after the violence, "can't we all just get along?"
