About: Anne M. Fiala is a maker and educator living in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She received a BFA in Industrial Design and a BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from Indiana University Bloomington.

In her work, Anne is an interdisciplinary artist who relies on instinct, process, and materials to create objects about memory and emotion.

Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been included in various publications and catalogues.
