Both women are candid and bring out the realities of their flag football daughters.

Interview with: Julie Curry, Parker Curry and Alison Wood
Hosted by: Diane Beruldsen

Julie Curry is a mom to young flag footballer Parker. She teaches 3rd grade and shares her thoughts for her daughter playing flag football, the hard knocks on the field and the life skills learned. There is a transfer of life skills which flag footballers learn from playing.  Parker shares what she likes most about flag football as well.

Alison Wood is mother of three children. She plays flag football and has coached her children flag football along with her husband. Sometimes it was not easy coaching her daughter as Alison describes the challenges and highlights for coaching one's own and explains why flag football may not be the popular choice for parents when deciding which sports their daughters should play. On the other side there are benefits, and flag football is a great sport for kids.... "the ultimate team sport" . "It's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get back up ".
