A kind gentleman named Gerry Odonothing heard Kevin Annett’s story and wrote a song about him. He also created the video below. It is a blessing when others step up and show the strong fighters respect for all they have given.

Kevin’s Great- Grandfather hailed from Co. Tyrone. In 1880, when he was 10 he and all of his family left Ireland on a boat from Cobh Co. Cork. All of this young child's family died of Typhus on the journey to Montreal and 10 year old Daniel O'Neill landed in the new world bereft of everything.

50,000 children died in the Residential schools in Canada. To learn more go to: hiddenfromhistory.org or email Kevin Annett at hiddenfromhistory@yahoo.ca

The second song is written by Kevin Annett’s wife Carol Annett. She is in process of creating a name for the song.

The third song is: Eagle Cries by Joanne Shenandoah. This song is played in honor of Kevin's Annett's name of Eagle Strong Voice.

The Fourth song is Residential School Song by Cheryl Bear. It is played so that we always remember the children that were taken away and how much it destroyed the community and family.

Where are the children? They need a proper burial and to be returned to their communities.
