In an article published by Time magazine - 40 percent of Americans feel that marriage is obsolete (out of use or practice; not current). However, in that same study approx 70 percent of eligible Americans have been married at least once. Is it fair to say that marriage today is viewed more like a “bucket list” item, then a covenant between the man, women and God? Are people getting married simply because it’s something to do before they die?
