Divining the System... Our be-bop Universe

Long time no Us, huh?  I'm back!  Hangin' out with Kim Pickens, artist & activist who is the founder of The Humility Project.  The Humility Project services the homeless community in the Victoria, Texas area and also reaches around the state and world to assist in the causes of homelessness in America.  We'll be hanging out an chattin' it up on homelessness in our communities, especially how it affects our children.  What IS homelessness?  The true realities of how and why...how often its occurring in our neighborhoods and how aware and/or involved are we do understand.  Its something to know its a problem, quite another to be moved enough to bring awareness using social media and legwork to establish an entity dedicated to bring aid to those who are in need of food/shelter and clothing.  We will also be speaking on school choice, and school vouchers.  How are tax dollars used to provide a system of vouchers and monies set aside for Educational pruposes and whose eligible to recieve vouchers towards Education? I'm learning all this stuff too!  What's up with Betsy Voss and Ben Carson... the two persons at the 'head' of both Education and Housing in our governing system today.  Kim is a mama of 5 Pickens' boys, wife of  artist and musician, Raj Pickens.  Together they co-founded the SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN ART COLLECTIVE promoting and producing art shows in the Victoria area and providing assistance and awareness on homelessness for our world.  Join us!  Call in if you like!
