When cold winds blow and take us waaaaay off track of what we set forward to do, reminders not to become so distracted that we forget our WHY.  This Saturday, a pre-quel and mini-sode of the upcoming full episode in April on 'homeland security' featuring Texas native, publisher and artist, Kim Pickens.  Wife of a musician, mother of 5 and a sister friend to me of some 20 years, Kim is also the director of a program that services the homeless community in her immediate area of Victoria, Texas as well as the homeless community across the state, and country.  She champions the cause to be a giver and to be about service where she feels most apt and passionate. It is a blessing to the community to have a mother/sister so pressed to care that she has made it her business to be the change she seeks.  In April, we will be talking about the plight and realities of homelessness, home schooling for our children, and the perils of the 'wanderer' who is homeless in a sense of disconnected from roots or grounding to live a life of carving out space in time to make a mark and leave a legacy for family...for the Universe.  Everyone of us have 'roots'... choices and consequences matter to find our way, but what matters {i believe} is how we handle those grooves and curves.  We keep walkin' and learning.... growing in love.  We will also discuss school choice {home schooling, public vs. private school} I'm excited to speak with her and share it with you.  Until then, you will see mini-sodes leading up to the full episode in April.  This Saturday night is a brief episode to check in and say HI!  Stay tuned!
