Tune in to the Weapons of Praise Blogtalk Radio Show on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 6:30 pm. This weeks' episode will host Mrs. Kellie Doolittle and her "best friend" Cousteau. Kellie is an OT at Virginia Neurocare, a community re-entry program for soldiers that are returning from deployment with Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. She has one cat, named CAT and one dog, Cousteau. Kellie enjoys volunteering during our off time with Service Dogs of Virginia, a non-profit that raises and trains dogs to provide greater independance for indivdiuals with disabilities. Kellie's "best friend" Cousteau says, "Woof!" His activities include sleeping, eating, doing tricks for treats, stealing cat food and loving his humans (clients )at work and snuggling with the CAT at home. He follows Kellie everywhere, except to the grocery store. (I don't like the freezer section) He has recently earned his airborn wings -- Cousteau has flewn six commercial flights in 10 days. He has been awarded the honorary status of Colonel and is a member of the Special Forces. All accolades that have been prestigiously given to him by the guys that come through our program. Please tune in to our show on Wednesday at 6:30 pm as they speak about their amazing work that they do in assisting soldiers to help with their rehabilitation after they have been affected with traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress.
