Dr. Barbara Hutchinson is a native of Trinidad and Tobago West Indies ho has been in private practice for over 15 years, since completing her Cardiovascular training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Hutchinson attend the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she completed her Internal Medicine traing and served as the first African American Cheif Medical Resident. Prior to attending medical shcoel she rece...ived her PhD from Howard University in Cardiovascular Pharmacology. She received her undergraduate medical education from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad. She taught Biology and Chemistry prior to entering postgraduate training. Dr. Hutchinson is currently the managing partner of Chesapeake Cardiac Care PA and is interested in the management Confestive Heart failure, Cornoary Artery Disease, Hypertension, Heart Disease in Women and the effects of Herbal supplement in heart disease.
